Overview
Bearing-bore wear, split-line distortion, and oil leak paths at gasket faces are the dominant failure modes that drive gearbox housings out of service well before the gear set itself wears out. Belzona 1111 (Super Metal) rebuilds the bearing bore back to original dimension; Belzona 1121 (Super XL-Metal) extends the working window for the longer cure and large-volume fill that gearbox casings often need. Both are cold-cure, machinable, and dimensionally stable, so the housing returns to the gear set with the line-bore concentricity the manufacturer specified.
