Overview
Crane rail chocking has to transfer wheel loads measured in tens of tons across an irregular concrete or steel substrate, and conventional steel shimming usually leaves point contact that fatigues both the rail and the supporting structure. Belzona 7111 is the pourable two-part 100% solids chocking compound formulated to spread uniformly across irregular surfaces, transferring load across the full contact area and absorbing physical and thermal shock typical in heavy-lift service. The system pours cold without machining the rail support and cures to full load capacity inside the maintenance window.
