Overview
Composite wrap repair only delivers its rated pressure performance when the resin-fiber layup is bonded to a properly prepared substrate and cured under the qualified procedure, otherwise the wrap behaves as decoration. Belzona SuperWrap II uses an epoxy resin and reinforcing-fiber system applied wet onto the pipe and cured to a known stress limit per ISO 24817 and ASME PCC-2 Article 4.1. Belzona 1212 fills underlying defects so the wrap bonds to a sound substrate, with the full system qualified for service from -76°F to 302°F.
