Overview
Steel solar racking and ground-mount foundations corrode at the soil-air interface and around bolted connections, where galvanic interactions between dissimilar metals and seasonal moisture cycles strip galvanizing within a single decade rather than the design life. Belzona 5831 (ST-Barrier) is the surface-tolerant epoxy that bonds to damp or oil-contaminated steel without the surface-prep window that conventional coatings need; Belzona 5151 (Hi-Build Cladding) provides UV-stable weatherproof topcoat over the corrosion barrier. Both apply on-site without taking the array offline or re-driving foundations.
