Overview of Belzona 9631
Belzona 9631 is a water-activated pipe leak sealing kit containing a 5 cm x 150 cm (2 in x 60 in) pre-impregnated fiberglass wrap packaged in a hermetically sealed foil pouch. Activated by water and ready to use straight from the pouch, the wrap requires no measuring, mixing, or specialist equipment. As it is wrapped around the leak, the resin cures rapidly to form a hard, mechanically strong composite that bonds to copper, steel, stainless steel, PVC, and many other substrates. The system resists pressures of approximately 7 bar (100 psi) and provides hard cure within 60 to 90 minutes at 20°C (68°F), making it well suited to emergency pipe repairs where speed is critical.
